Docs ยท mmorpg hosting
Pick a game, pick an age band, flip hostFree to decide who pays โ then the meter runs server + load per minute plus an hourly rental fee. You always see the quote before anything bills.
Step one
Every server is scoped to one game and one age band: kids, teens, or adults. The band is set at rent time and never changes mid-shard โ a kids shard stays a kids shard for its whole life.
๐ฎ Game
Any MMORPG-compatible cabinet. Rates follow the game's own play meter underneath.
๐ก๏ธ kids | teens | adults
The shard's ceiling: who may enter is fixed by the band you choose. Entry rules live on the age-bands page.
๐ Locked at rent
No mid-shard band swaps โ changing the audience means renting a new server.
Step two โ the money question
One toggle decides the whole economy of your shard. Flip it at rent time; the shard page always shows the current setting so nobody is surprised.
๐ hostFree ON โ the host treats everyone
๐ค hostFree OFF โ the table splits the bill

quotequotes only until the ledger migration lands โ nothing bills yet
The meter
Three parts, each quoted upfront. The 25% cut is already inside every figure โ 100 ๐ช is exactly $1.00.
Example: a 400-coin ($4.00) job โ 300 coins provider credits, 100 coins platform. You only ever see the gross 400. All credits are on-site only (cloud compute, game credits, other on-site services); never cash-out, never withdrawable.
Code truth
Today the hosting flow returns price quotes without moving coins. Live per-minute billing ships with the coin-ledger migration; until then, treat every figure on the rent page as an estimate.
